DOG-FRIENDLY BARN CONVERSION
Set within the grounds of the owners small holding, The Milking Parlour is a stunning dog-friendly barn conversion renovated to the highest standard offering modern living with a cosy cottage feel. The exterior of The Milking Parlour really is a picture-perfect scene with the traditional stone walls that line the gardens and rustic willow weaved fencing which runs between you and the cottage next door. A stable door leads you into this bright and airy dog-friendly barn conversion straight into the beautifully finished kitchen and dining area. Perfectly sized for a small family. You can enjoy underfloor heating throughout this cottage but for those extra chilly winter’s nights, load up the log burner and snuggle round! Your first basket of logs and fire lighters are provided and once you have run out there are more logs available to purchase in a log store at the farm or at local shops if you prefer.
Although cosy, this dog-friendly barn conversion is fully equipped to cater for your needs during your short break or longer stay. All bed linen, bath and hand towels, bath mats and teas towels are provided. The kitchen includes an electric fan oven, electric hob, microwave and fridge and there is also a shared freezer in one of the sheds close by.
Your dog-friendly barn conversion comfortably accommodates two adults and two children in a gorgeous double bedroom and bunk bedroom – both with stable doors which open out onto your own patio area complete with table and chairs.
There are three cottages in this dog-friendly barn conversion sleeping a total of 10 people, so if you are looking for somewhere to accommodate a group then these pretty cottages could be the answer. Take a look at Byre and The Mill for more details and if you would like a price on renting all three, please get in touch.
You will also find a communal garden area outside your dedicated garden, accessed by your garden gate, complete with log benches and a camp fire area where you can enjoy making a fire and sitting around enjoying the countryside. As the cottages are close to the owners small holding, you can also benefit from fresh eggs (if the hens feel like laying!) and the chance to say hello to some rare breed Belted Galloway cattle too! A real countryside retreat!
